Experiential Trips
AISV Experiential Learning Trips
At AISV, we believe that learning transcends the boundaries of the classroom. Our Experiential Learning Trips provide students with opportunities to explore, connect, and grow in meaningful ways. These immersive experiences are designed to foster personal development, strengthen community bonds, and inspire global citizenship. Whether students are participating in curriculum-aligned activities, engaging in cultural exchanges, or exploring their interests through co-curricular programs, every trip embodies AISV’s commitment to holistic education.
With trips tailored to different age groups and interests, students are encouraged to embrace challenges, build friendships, and create lifelong memories. From collaborative projects to adventures within Lithuania and beyond, our small school, with a big heart, ensures every student’s journey is impactful and enriching.
Core Trips: Building Connections and Community
Fall Trips: Early in the school year, students in grades 5 through 12 embark on a two-day adventure designed to strengthen relationships and introduce them to new customs, cultures, and languages. These age-appropriate trips focus on team-building and fostering a sense of belonging.
Week Without Walls: Each June, students step outside their usual routines to participate in activities that connect classroom learning to real-world experiences. From nature explorations to creative projects, this week is a celebration of hands-on learning and discovery.
Other Enriching Trips
Beyond the core curriculum, AISV offers a range of optional trips and excursions that spark curiosity and inspire deeper engagement. Past experiences have included language immersion programs, ski trips, science-focused explorations, and traveling to represent our school in international tournaments and academic competitions through CEESA and Nordic League programs. These opportunities allow students to challenge themselves, showcase their talents, and form connections with peers from across the region.
Participation Requirements
To participate in these enriching experiences, students are expected to meet specific requirements that uphold AISV's academic and personal excellence values. Students must maintain good academic standing, exhibit positive behavior, and demonstrate consistent attendance. These criteria ensure that participants are fully prepared to engage in and benefit from the opportunities offered.
