AISV understands that a student may have individual talents and abilities that justify an exception to this policy, but the Admissions Committee will use concrete, factual data to reach their decision regarding placement. To determine if an exception to the general policy is warranted, the committee will consider references from the previous school and initial assessment results, especially in developmental and attentive abilities, English and Math, to determine if there are reasons to move a student beyond the indicated grade.
Admission Policy

The American International School of Vilnius welcomes learners from a wide range of national, cultural, and educational backgrounds. We admit students regardless of race, sex, religion, physical ability, sexual orientation, gender expression, or national or ethnic origin.

Our programs are designed to be engaging and challenging, requiring high motivation and commitment. We grant admission to students who demonstrate the drive to reach their personal potential and whose families are ready to actively support our educational philosophy and community.

Key Enrollment Guidelines:

Year-Round Admissions: Students may be admitted throughout the school year, subject to space availability and the suitability of our academic programs. Grade placement is determined by the student's age and academic records.

Evaluation Process: Acceptance to AISV is conditional. Each candidate is carefully evaluated based on academic records, behavioral history, and information gathered during the enrollment process.

Student Support Services: AISV supports a managed number of students with physical, academic, or emotional needs within our resource limits. If a student requires specialized testing, one-to-one support, or external consultations, additional fees will apply.

Full Disclosure: Parents/guardians must provide complete and accurate records regarding a student’s academic and behavioral history. AISV reserves the right to decline enrollment or terminate an agreement if critical information is withheld.
