BUS SERVICES

AISV works with a local, independent operator to provide students with door-to-door bus service. These services are recommended but not mandatory. Older students living in the center of town can bike, walk, or even use public transportation. The Vilnius public bus service has stops outside both our campuses.

CAFETERIA SERVICES

Meals at our school are provided by an amazing food catering company, “Voverės,” which provides a diverse menu and delicious quality food to your children every day. There are many options to choose from: regular and vegetarian, small or big portions, soup, as well as dessert. Meals can be paid for in various ways, depending on the age of your children. Please find all the specific details below:

PRE-K TO GRADE 1 

• What’s included? Daily lunch from a monthly seasonal menu that complies with all children’s catering regulations and is approved by the State Food and Veterinary Service (VMVT). Lunch includes soup, a main dish with a side, vegetables, fruit, and water. Refills are always free of charge.

• How do I pay for the canteen? Lunch is ordered on a monthly basis and only by advance payment through the Ordero app. Parents can select the days their child will eat. Orders can be placed until 8:00 AM on the same day. If your child is sick or absent, the amount paid for missed days is discounted from the next month’s payment.

• The lunch price for 1 day is €5.90 (half portion – €2.95)

GRADE 2 TO 5

• What’s included? Lunch includes soup, a main dish, and a side dish. Students choose from three hot meal options, one of which is vegetarian. Friday is “cheat day,” with freshly baked buns, pizzas, burgers, or hot dogs.

• How do I pay for the canteen? Meals can be ordered on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and only by advance payment through the Ordero app. Orders can be placed until 8:00 AM on the same day.
  

• Hot meals with a side dish: €5.30–5.90 / Soup: €1.40–1.70 (half portion: €1.20–1.50)

GRADE 6 TO 12

• Students in grades 6-12 can choose and order meals at the canteen. The canteen is open daily from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Throughout the day, the canteen serves fresh fruit, healthy homemade snacks, sandwiches & tea. 
  

• How do I pay for the canteen? By cash, bank card, canteen Paysera e-card, or through the Ordero app.
  

• Any student who does not wish to sign up for the hot lunch program should bring his/her own lunch from home - microwaves and a refrigerator are available for these students.
  

• Hot meals with a side dish: €5.30–5.90 / Soup: €1.40–1.70 (half portion: €1.20–1.50)

PAYMENT METHODS

• Ordero app: Order meals for a single day or up to one month in advance, and cancel easily if your plans change. Canceled meals are refunded as credits that can be used for your next order.

• Canteen Paysera e-card: A physical card for canteen payments only, no cash needed. Cards can be purchased at the canteen for €5.00 (new cards available from September 1st) and topped up by bank card or bank transfer.
  
• At the canteen: Cash, bank card, or Paysera e-card.

ALLERGIES AND SPECIAL DIETS

Please inform the school nurse if your child has allergies or requires a special diet. The canteen will gladly prepare an individual menu to suit your child’s needs.

AISV Lower School also participates in the "Pienas ir Vaisiai" ("Milk and Fruit") program to distribute milk products and fruits to children, whilst encouraging children to appreciate fruits and vegetables and get them used to using these products in the future.
