Mission Statement

DIVERSITY
Diversity at AISV refers to the vibrancy of our international community in which each member contributes their own unique identity and mutually benefits from that of others. Our diversity includes various forms of identity not limited to  race, color, ethnicity, nationality,  language, religious beliefs, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, socioeconomic status, mental health, neurodiversity, genetic information, but also envelops differences in thought, values, experiences and perspectives. 


EQUITY
Equity at AISV means guaranteeing access to opportunities for every community member. We acknowledge that each person's path at AISV is different, and we support each individual with what they need to realize their personal potential.


INCLUSION
Inclusion at AISV is reflected in a welcoming and safe environment where community members participate as their authentic selves. Inclusion is demonstrated in respect and empathy throughout our AISV family where our diverse members share a sense of belonging. 


JUSTICE
Justice at AISV is an active and conscious effort to work against systemic inequity, exclusion, and intolerance within our school and community. All community members are empowered to tackle difficult issues, minimize bias, remove barriers to resources and opportunities, and dismantle injustice wherever found, including within ourselves.
