Grade 10 Explores Lithuanian Culture in Anykščiai

2019.11.04

On Tuesday, October 15th, grade 10 visited a beautiful city - Anykščiai. We were divided into two groups for some activities (mother-tongue and non-native Lithuanian speakers). Non-native speakers visited the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum. It was interesting to see how the steam engine trains work and how they were used in the past. We also saw some old cars and technologies of the past. Meanwhile, the other group participated in the education program in Angels Museum and painted on the water in EBRU technique. After we joined back together and ate delicious lunch in the cafe "Pasagėlė". At the educational workshops there we got to see the old techniques of making butter and cheese which we tasted afterwards. We really enjoyed this trip and recommend it for future grade 10.
