Grade 10 in Kaunas Learning about two Famous Lithuanian Poets

On 4th of May, 10th graders went to Kaunas to learn more about two very famous Lithuanian poets - Maironis and Salomeja Neris. The weather was beautiful, which accompanied a great time in town. First destination was the house of Salomeja Neris. The nature around the place was breathtaking, every student appreciated it a lot. Students have learned a lot about author’s life in Lithuania, her rebellious acts and her love towards poetry. At the end of the tour, students participated in a quiz on what they have learned.  The second place was the house of Mairionis. The places were significantly different in their style and placement in town.  It was a blast to spend time in Kaunas on such a sunny day.
