School Canteen

AISV canteen - the Bookworm Café - will continue serving healthy and tasty food for the school year 2011-2012. Our aim is unchanged: to introduce children to the diversity of world cuisine. Aside from lunch, we will be serving nutritious snacks and drinks from 8:30am until 4:00pm. Every Friday at the end of the lessons, we will offer take away dinners for families. The dishes will be varied from Moroccan chicken, to Kung Pao pork and lots of international favorites. You will be able to the see the monthly menu on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/bookwormcafe.

The price for the set lunch, which consists of soup, main course and fruit juice, will be 8 litas for Pre-3 and Kindergarten students, and 10 litas to students in grades 1 to 3. Children will be allowed to have second helpings. We will require a 1 month's advance payment upon signing a contract. The amount can be paid in cash in the canteen or by bank transfer. Students in grades 4-12 will be able to buy a lunch or a snack on a daily basis at the canteen from the menu of the day or bring their own lunch from home.

 The students who do not wish to sign-up for the hot lunch program, should bring their own lunch - microwaves and a refrigerator are available for the use of these students.
